Libraries are meant to be filled with color. Libraries are meant to be places where “activists and homeless” are welcomed. I know so many librarians who have helped the unhoused find jobs and housing because of library resources. The library is safety for the folks who need it most.

I will never not be angry about the way that Covid happened and some people have just moved on like nothing ever happened. I worked in healthcare during all of it and so many of us are scarred by things we heard or saw. The lack of consequences for mismanagement is just so frustrating
