My experience has been that Times Square is still a mess but the rest of the city has improved a bit. I am also a Brooklyn resident who only goes into Manhattan a few times a week. Now if they would implement congesting pricing out here, I'd love it.

My PA hometown got hit by a massive thunderstorm before Labor Day that brought down lots of trees and caused long power outages. Multiple commenters on the local newspaper's FB page thought that "they" were trying to control the weather and messed up, bc that area never used to get storms like that.

Tonight’s movie was a 10th anniversary show by 5 Seconds of Summer. It was weird: lots of songs, some sketches, some interviews, it was made in 2021 during Covid in Australia so only the band was on camera for most of it. Some of the songs are catchy.

I actually came up with the idea of filling the triumphal arch with "sniper ammunition" and drones. My thought was, since it's going to be hollow inside (?) there's a lot of great storage space in there that would otherwise be going unused. Simply put the sniper ammunition and drones in there.
