Beginning Oct. 5, 2026, Albertans must go online & pre-order their seasonal vaccines for the 2027-28 respiratory virus season. Pre-orders for next year will be accepted until Dec. 18. If you don't Alberta won't buy enough doses for the population. This program isn't advertised #abpoli #yyc #yeg #yql

Calgary and Edmonton are just too spread out for public transit? Edmonton pioneered modern LRT in North America. Calgary’s C-Train was the highest ridership LRT among all cities in the US and Canada for 2025, beating out systems in much bigger cities.

Hi, do you bike with kids on a cargo/family bike in the winter? I’d love to update my winter bike clothing guide to mention this but don’t have kids, so I’m soliciting help! Please let me know if you’d be willing to provide some perspective/experience and I’m happy to credit you on the guide.

My belated #yegdt hot take is that it actually isn't that bad. It has problems, but they're long-running ones that go back decades. Claims that it's broken are very overwrought, and worth a side-eye; it's generally been getting better. And no, it's not because of the hockey thingy. 1/lots w/ maps!

Back to school is a scheduled reminder of how broken our parking enforcement system is. No penalty bc they’re only there a few hrs; the complaint isn’t actioned for 3 days; rinse, repeat. Curb extensions are a solution to stop this, but we just potential waste ticket revenue. #yeg #yegbike #yegwalk
