genuinely so embarrassing that so many mod creators think that gen AI images make their mods look better or more professional when all it does is make me immediately ignore the mod and assume that it was probably coded terribly too

Marcel Duchamp kicked the bucket 55 slutty, slutty years ago and you can't get him out of your head.
You're half as old as he is dead and you are worshiping at his altar, you are drinking his piss. He won.

Several weeks ago, Phil Tippett's legendary animation studio in Berkeley, CA closed. An anonymous hero noticed a folder of CDs. This turned out to be hundreds of unseen hi-res images and videos from Star Wars, Robocop, Jurassic Park, etc. ~90 isos for you to browse: archive.org/details/tipp...

A casual Star Wars alien fella at the cantina, in a sun faded, reddish photo. Someone will be mad at me for not knowing who this is.

Phil, a balding Caucasian man, poses a model of the garthok, an antagonist from the Coneheads movie.

Phil, a balding caucasian man, points at some CG on a CRT computer monitor, as a younger man looks on. The screen shows a model of a dinosaur attacking a jeep, while there's an actual physical model of that event in the foreground for reference.

an isolated shot of a star wars vehicle. Sorry, I don't know star wars lol

Daily bunny no.3459 is getting ready

A couple of bunnies haul a gigantic pumpkin home from a pumpkin patch, dragging it down the sidewalk in an old-fashioned red toy wagon. A third bunny rolls a smaller pumpkin sideways along the sidewalk just behind them

I've had this fella for 100 years but there is nothing more terrifying than showing people your art... finally, you may place your peepers upon them... meet rebecca, the sheep-dog thing! #art #oc #freak

a trio of drawings of rebecca, a creature with both sheep and dog characteristics. they have a big round cut of wool on their head, obscuring their eyes, floppy brown ears, wool around their wrists and ankles, a fluffy tail, hooves, and hoove-esque fingers. they wear a green collar with a big yellow bell, a black croptop with white text reading "THEY/THEM" on it, and gray shorts.
the top middle drawing is them doing a weird freak pose, wriggling their fingers about while showing their butt and tail sort of.
the bottom left drawing is them pointing cockily while sticking their tongue out toothily.
the bottom right drawing is them sitting on a nondescript shape, with their right leg up. they have their toing out closed-mouth style.
text on the left reads "BEAST", with arrows pointing at all of the drawings, and parenthesesed text reading "their name is rebecca". on the right is text reading "the sheep-dog thing EVER!"
the background is a strange faint green-purple gradient.

Exactly. I am tired of seeing the “I always knew”/“their work was actually bad” takes whenever allegations emerge. Sometimes—often, actually!—bad people find their way into good spaces and make good things. And you’re not better than the folks who were taken advantage of for “always knowing”

the great thing about reblogging is there's absolutely no way for people to know if you're reblogging just because you like the art or if you're reblogging because you heavily relate to it

did you know that every day, more people are getting long covid? because the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic never actually ended, even if eveyone is acting like it? mask up and start stopping the spread again. we have the tools to actually end the pandemic. we just have to all pitch in and use them.

Genuinely do not trust any decomp/recomp project until it's verified that the team behind it is very anti-AI, every single one of them is a scam because we're currently in the AI dipshit backpat gold rush of every moron dropping hundreds to get credit as the first to make a shitty emulator.

A screenshot of a Reddit comment, which reads “Shit man, these Heroic Games are fucked. I just saw a kid stick his hand out, yell "Blackfire!" or some shit, and three dudes in front of him just got set alight and burned to ash. The camera didn't even zoom in and treat it like an actual battle exchange, that's how common this shit is. My ass is still using Combat Arts like Grounder and Fading Blow. I think I just saw the Queen of Saramis rip a massive chunk of earth out of the ground and throw it to obliterate some guy two tiles over, I gotta get the fuck outta here.”
