Surely it's fair enough for a political movement to want to stick to it's original noble purpose. I certainly don't agree with the anti-migrant, white industrial nostalgia bias, but maybe it's a good thing that they don't want to abandon working class for prof and managerial.

The US aircraft carrier was set to return in May but the war with Iran has kept it at sea on one of the longest deployments ever.

I remember back in the day an old lefty explaining how the Thatcherite Right proudly used "radical right" to falsely appropriate the positiveness of radicalism associated with the Left, in the same way the Nazis used "socialist".

Wait, this is the same Telegraph that rails against the spendthrift ways of Gen Z for buying a sandwich for lunch instead of living entirely on the cheapest boiled greens available because that way they’ll have a house deposit saved in a mere 15 years? They need to make their mind up.

There would be a danger of this kind of money buying elections. Except that since it's Farage you know most of it will just find its way into his pocket rather than any kind of campaigning.

The polling company JL Partners is unwilling to follow the rules, so should not be in the polling council. Also the Telegraph appears to have lied about the provenance of the poll it published. Even if they didn't know that Reform commissioned it, it was dishonest to suggest it was a Telegraph poll.

This article is utter garbage because it never mentions demand, it never mentions composition of 'traders' portfolios (more LNG, less pipe) and it buried this 2/3 of the way down in an article with 'panic' in the headline. Shameful gutter nonsense. www.theguardian.com/business/202...
