Let me be clear: we know from evidence in countries around the world that physician dual practice drains resources away from the public system and, in many cases, increases wait times for public patients. This goes directly against the spirit of the Canada Health Act. 1/3

We need someone in Alberta government to say this stuff... it's not raising the bar to expect data centers to not negatively impact a community. evidence is so ample, and each one that gets proposed should be adjusted based on all of the impact issues already evident - or they shouldn't be built.

What should we think about a doctor who uses the wrong treatment, either wilfully or through ignorance, or who uses the right treatment wrongly (such as by giving the wrong dose of a drug)? Most people would agree that such behaviour was unprofessional, arguably unethical, and certainly unacceptable.

What, then, should we think about researchers who use the wrong techniques (either wilfully or in ignorance), use the right techniques wrongly, misinterpret their results, report their results selectively, cite the literature selectively, and draw unjustified conclusions? We should be appalled. Yet numerous studies of the medical literature, in both general and specialist journals, have shown that all of the above phenomena are common.1 2 3 4 5 6 7 This is surely a scandal.

much like researching female hormones by only researching men and therefore menstrual issues are non-existent, masks are designed to fit men and if they don't fit you that is certainly not the man's problem, and the research shows masks fit and no further development is needed.

This is an important step forward. The illusion of protection from infection while masking only during AGPs and not while sharing air was vibe-based, LONG undermined by mountains of replicated studies in aerosol transmission research, think since tuberculosis.
