The oil and gas cleanup crisis and AI data centres are two sides of the same coin in #Alberta. In both cases, big tech and natural gas companies are being prioritized, while community concerns are being ignored. #datacentres #abpoli #albertans #abnews

Amanda's waited for YEARS for an orphan well on her land to be cleaned up. Meanwhile, she can't build on that land or use it for livestock, and she fears the safety consequences of having a largely unmonitored well on her land. And the worst part? Amanda is far from the only one. #alberta #abpoli

This is why data centres are being pushed so hard here in Alberta as well. They want to burn more natural gas to make gas companies more profitable (and to help companies avoid cleanup) - while ordinary Albertans will be stuck paying more for our utility bills. #ABLeg #ABPoli #CDNPoli
