<div class="field field-field-text"><p>Lebanon’s Health Minister Rakan Nassereddine told Al Jazeera that "hundreds" of people have been killed and wounded in the last wave of Israeli strikes on Beirut.</p>
<p>Nassereddine added that “Hospitals are overcrowded with martyrs and the wounded due to the [Israeli] airstrikes on #Beirut and other areas".</p>
<p>Prime Minsiter Nawaf Salam condemned the attacks, saying that Israeli is killing "defenceless citizens".</p>
<p>Lebanon's Red Cross reported in a post on X that 100 ambulances have been deployed to the targeted sites and are transporting the wounded.</p>
