One cool thing Judaism has that I think other cultures should adopt is a certain amount of measured, optimistic caution when someone is pregnant. We know that pregnancy can go catastrophically badly overnight; the most common reply to a pregnancy announcement translates basically to “in good time”

I don't think people quite understand chronic illness, what it's like to "wake up tired" but still have a million things to do. Deciding where to invest your energy as you're operating on 20% of what everyone else has. Even the most basic stuff like washing yourself or making a meal is draining.

Visited the Allman Brothers today ... 🙃 It's a very interesting cemetery. Many hills, terraced spots, broken stones, and train tracks. Tracks used on ABB album covers.
