The Iron Law of Institutions is: the people who control institutions care first and foremost about their power within the institution rather than the power of the institution itself. Last night we went Christmas shopping at a Night Market in Culver City. They had great, unique gifts (including a young woman with a typewriter who wrote custom poems for $10). We can, but it's not going to happen by being polite. Luigi got us talking how most of us accept how greedy and inhumane health insurers are. We have to repeatedly show politicians how pissed we are about that (don't shoot, tho), and that their jobs are on the line ~ that's all they care about.
