Recently Kazuhiko Shimamoto went to Boston to attend his son’s (who is studying abroad) graduation. While he was there he took the time out to do the “Rocky Run” in Philadelphia with his son manning the camera. This is right after finishing Vampidol and still drawing Aoi Honoo 🤯 he’s a machine.

Somehow missed a new release of Dethrace, a reverse-engineered port of Carmageddon, two weeks ago. github.com/dethrace-lab... Right now it doesn't offer any enhancements beyond unlocked framerate, but the game seems to run perfectly fine in software rendered 640x480.

LTSC is windows 10 naked edition. Is has no apps, no store, no game bar or Xbox, not even OneDrive. ALL of that can be installed *if you want*. It's for businesses, but you can go set up until something like 2028 through massgrave.dev/windows_ltsc... I'm still tinkering with it myself.

I've been seeing a lot of pixel artists struggle with Bluesky's image compression, so I'd thought I'd share how to get clear, crisp pixels on the site! Share to help a fellow pixel-artist! #pixelart #tutorial

When uploading to Bluesky, remember to resize your works to 800%!

Why? Images are converted to .jpeg when uploaded. .jpeg compresses the image into 8x8 pixel blocks.

If a block has more than one colour, that dreaded compression occurs!

Earlier while playing DDR, someone on an adjacent cab came up to ask me how to change the difficulty on DDR World. I told them they're not crazy and showed them how to do it. I've had this interaction no less than 20 times in the past year. DDR World's UI might be the single worst thing ever made
