Thief Gold (1998, Gold - 1999) very excited for the remaster for one main reason-- gamepad UI. I've had mounting carpal tunnel issues that have made playing with keyboard+mouse increasingly difficult, but the Steam Deck works very well for me ergonomically. @nightdivestudios.bsky.social when :(

Every time I'm forced to learn about a popular streamer or youtuber it's the most insufferable, designed by committee -ass white man imaginable. Darksydephil looks like an assistant manager at Aldi. Mr Beast? Yeah my buddy used to sell him weed for $80 a gram in high school, we fucking hated him

Me in 50 years: and then me and Timmy Arbuckle set the homepage of every iMac in school to you're the man now dog dot com. It played a loop, ya see, of Sean Connery saying "you're the man now dog!" My grandkids: for the last time grandpa Sean Connery is a myth they've never found evidence he exists

So a lot of these games plus a TON of others can be found on archive .org from the uploader rohankar, repacked with compatibility fixes built in, even with a note about steam deck compatibility on newer uploads. Prey 2006, Crazy Taxi 3 (someone was asking about this here), Tony Hawks, The Movies..

Not only did I just learn that Tony Hawk games were ported to PC, I learned that there is a seemingly active community around these games. reTHAWed is a huge overhaul of American Wasteland with tons of levels and customization. Having not played AW this feels like getting a new entry rethawed.com
