Rhea Seehorn finally won an Emmy. It might be 10+ years late, but there is finally justice in the world for her.

Billboard found in downtown Dallas, where the RNC midterm convention will be in ~1.5 weeks. Yeah, we're trying down here.

*Don't play dance games for ~7 months * Lock in the past ~3 months for CEO * Place T-5th in the most stacked DDR tournament of 2026. Unc still got it.

Because Facebook forces you to have any business account tied to your personal account, my FB notifications look hilarious when I get a notification that an NFL team has requested partner access sandwiched between DDR/dance game bullshit.

Tested 6th gen Gold cab for first time since update. Played Posiden until I could SDP it. Now feels closer to a white cab, but still needed to make display offset 5-6ms more positive. Song sync also feels off, feel like you need judgment adjustment too. One shot on a white cab pics for reference.

I have to deal with the enshittification of Meta every day at work (not just the site, we run into so many issues on the advertiser side). This site blocks me from accessing it now unless I give them my ID (hell no). The Other Place now is trying to get around ad blockers. I hate everything man.

DDR sessions that consist of warming up over 2 sets and then playing 20 straight 18s are not particularly fun in your late 30s.

Got laid off a year ago today (yay end of financial year). My old company then proceeded to have multiple additional rounds of layoffs including outing the president in December 😬 Anyways, very fortunate for the new gig. Hectic at times, but definitely great for career growth.

You have no idea how happy it makes me that Mike Judge is giving national attention in the new King of the Hill season to my alma mater's flaming ball of sperm mascot.

Turns out a month of derusting put me at the level of (almost) SDPing 18s. Also JFC they added so many "we have ITL at home" charts to the game in the last 6 months.

Growing up I wanted to work in the game industry so badly. As an adult, MAN I'm glad I didn't go down that path. Props to anyone and everyone who did though, I can't imagine how rough it is having essentially 0 job security at all times (speaking as someone laid off 2x in a volatile industry).

As someone who had the SNES version of Toy Story as a kid and loved it but was also jealous I couldn't play the Sega Genesis version as well because it had exclusive levels and played the Playstation demo of Toy Story 2 over and over, this feels hyper targeted to me. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kgp9...

After barely playing dance games for the past 7 months (variety of reasons, mainly just wasn't motivated), I'm beginning to ramp back up playing in preparation for Storm. My timing and stamina (mainly on harder songs) aren't quite there yet, but I'm slowly shaking off the rust.

Current job is kinda unreal. "We're transporting you to a 300 acre ranch where all you're going to do tomorrow is ride a bunch of farm/construction/turf/high end residential equipment on an obstacle course. Going back, you get unlimited alcohol on the bus. BTW you make 20%+ more than your last job."

One of the best thing about my new job is that they have an official Teams channel that is solely dedicated to people posting pictures of their pets.

So has anyone here ever been bussed to a 300 acre ranch to test drive really high end tractors/farm equipment as a part of a 3 day work meeting? Because apparently that's what I'm doing next week.

Putting this out there now - not expecting to do any major travel until August due to new job and wanting the ~3 month intro period to pass. Know there's some great dance game events during that time, but not targeting going to any of them until CEO/Storm in August.

Don't want to jinx anything, but I think having a job interview go 30 minutes over with a director and getting a follow up interview request scheduled later in the week with assistant directors 5 minutes after the interview ended seems like a good sign? Fingers crossed.

Only posting this over here and not on the other site because I know what kind of engagement this would draw. Chris Chan showing up at R1 GVM yesterday after being kicked out of a convention and being swarmed by a crowd is f'ing wild. If you don't know who that is...you're better off not knowing.

Funniest thing about a 300 day streak of Spanish on Duolingo - I was just served a shady car dealership ad in Spanish and was able to understand them saying you didn't need ID or a passport to lease a car from them.

It's very weird making a tweet that gets 30-50 likes in the first 6-8 hours, go to bed, and then find out it exploded 500x overnight to the point there's now a community note on it. It also sadly affirms what a cesspool that place is now judging by the average comment I see in my notifications.

Left dpad input stopped working on my Switch 2 Pro Controller. I do not recommend dealing with Nintendo's customer service. They try everything possible except just letting you sending in the controller for repair even if it's still under the 1 year warranty.

PSA: Nike Free 5.0s are currently $57 (plus tax) if you use "ACCESS" promo code on Nike's site. I think this is the lowest I've seen a pair go for (my Twitter post history says $60 was the previous low). I don't see an option for women's sizes sadly, they only have the 2018s in stock.
