There’s a data centres Bill returning to parliament next week (the Cyber Security & Resilience Bill). Why isn’t Labour amending it to include mandatory carbon & water reporting by data centre developers, at minimum? That would simply be in line with EU regulations. bsky.app/profile/theg...

Reform’s leaders peddle rhetoric around climate change denial. Their councils act on it. Last month, Reform-run Suffolk County Council scrapped its climate emergency declaration. Now, as a wildfire tears through the county, we are seeing exactly why climate action should not be abandoned.
