This #BlackHistoryMonth is a reminder: poverty doesn't happen by chance. Anti-Blackness, racism that specifically impacts black people, helps drive the inequality that holds people back.
We can’t fight poverty without fighting anti-Black racism.
When people choose to believe some lives matter more than others, inequality thrives. We can make better choices - and build better futures.

The water needed to make new clothes is pretty mind-blowing. Just one T-shirt requires 2,700 litres. In the face of the climate crisis, that water could otherwise be used to drink, cook and stay safe from disease.

But without action to back this up, these words mean little. The Prime Minister currently faces a critical choice about whether or not he approves drilling at Rosebank and Jackdaw projects in the North Sea."Text says: "The science is clear: there is no room for new oil and gas projects in an overheating world. Not only would approving Rosebank and Jackdaw undermine the Prime Minister’s support of net zero, it would lock the UK into decades of additional emissions that will disproportionately affect communities across the world already experiencing extreme heat, drought and other climate impacts.
