Huh. Seems like outlining vague shapes in nebulas and placing cities where the brightest stars are is a pretty decent way to start drawing a fantasy map.

It's not just Americans. Back in the 1980s when Italy was the most popular destination for German tourists, most touristy places there offered German food as well. Might even still be the case today. Which completely baffles me, knowing Italian food.

What I desperately miss about MSN Messenger wasn't being 15, or nudges, or screen names or anything, it was the fact that when you weren't online, you couldn't be messaged, and if you didn't want to make yourself known you could Appear Offline. Oh and no Read Receipts. Modern DMs are torture.

Today at #chezRat: Panko-breaded cauliflower florets with home-made gochugaru mayo. When I was little, my mom used to make a more basic version of this with regular breadcrumbs, so this version combines fond memories with excellent crunch and a Korean touch. I like it. ❤️
