What I desperately miss about MSN Messenger wasn't being 15, or nudges, or screen names or anything, it was the fact that when you weren't online, you couldn't be messaged, and if you didn't want to make yourself known you could Appear Offline. Oh and no Read Receipts. Modern DMs are torture.
