Luton Airport Parkway train station is barely 0.8 miles from the airport itself - it's obscene the car-centric design of that area means there's physically no way to just walk that distance and you have to faff around with a shuttle bus.

Blockbuster movies need alternative soundtracks for when they are broadcast on TV. It's infuriating having to reach for the remote every time the soundtrack switches from inaudible mumbling to all out nuclear war and back.

The 'Young Tory' is such a quietly unsettling, eerie phenomenon. There's just something so unwholesome about being 17 and into conserving the status quo, dressing like you're 55, and enthusing about supply-side economics. Feels unnatural, sinister.

News that people are buying illegal e-motos for commuting; some without realising they aren't road legal and allegedly even via Cycle to Work. The new E-Bike Positive Trust Mark will help, but plenty of public confusion still. My latest for Cycling Industry News cyclingindustry.news/commuters-in...

Nazis are specific to one historical period. Nobody is a Nazi nowadays. They're neo-Nazis, which is far worse. They saw where that rhetoric leads and decided they wanted more of that.

Two tier policing. Victoria Thomas Bowen, who chucked a milkshake at Farage, was given a 13-week jail sentence, suspended for 12 months; had to pay him £150 compensation; had to complete 120 hours of unpaid work and pay £450 in court costs. It was nowhere near the level of violence of this assault.

I would love to ask a prominent BBC journalist to give me an example of an illegitimate concern. Is seems to me that it has become a question not of fact, logic, or ethics but of volume. If a big enough proportion of a village was anxious about Bigfoot or Chemtrails, BBC would cover it in a way...

Just seen a complaint that Blue Sky doesn't contain nearly enough silliness, so, y'know...
Royal Navy monitor HMS Marshal Ney. It's basically a hull, a spotting tower, and a honking great pair of 15" guns perched atop a tall cylindrical turret, the type of which usually has fair maiden lowering her hair for a fairytale suitor, or at least a lad with a fetish for blondes who keep tripping over their ponytail. It's a deeply silly ship.
