ndm @ndm.raccoon.codes · 27/08/2026Oh agreed. I was young and inexperienced, but even then I knew I was selling myself short. But I knew my clients couldn't afford an agency either, so billing a tenth of the price was a win for both of us. Maybe that hatred just comes as you grow bigger. Either way, I wish you better clients! 010
ndm @ndm.raccoon.codes · 27/08/2026I don't like the blanket vilifying of small business owners. I have worked with some absolutely amazing clients, especially in the days when I was charging far too little for freelance work. It's important to set expectations and limits. Maybe I was just lucky, but there are good people out there. 110

ndm @ndm.raccoon.codes · 26/08/2026There's probably already a white paper on takedown-resistant botnets that I'm too lazy to find, but ideally you'd want to maintain a massive pool of domains (maybe through a dyndns type service so it's harder to shut down the root) so a single takedown doesn't kill everything. Or just return to IRC. 020
