Scotiabank, there's a deficiency in your wire transfer software. Glad to see you've made it easier to send funds directly to foreign banks, but there's a problem. UK banks for example, deal in Euros and British pounds. So better to allow me a choice of currency, not force GBP. That costs money.

The federal government should "step in" how, exactly? Evrery year, they already tally up what provinces charged for private care, and deduct it from their next transfer payment. This is publicly reported. That's as much as the Canada Health Act allows them to do.
