The electronic medical record was going to save us tons of time, but then someone decided to put in 7 different ways to order everything and put completely inscrutable names on them.

These are important medications for diabetes management as well! I have many patients who have gone from uncontrolled to controlled diabetes and some have been able to stop insulin, HTN medications, etc #EndoSky #MedSky

When insulin was first patented in 1923, the discoverers declined to put their names on it as they felt that insulin belonged to the public. 101 years later, insulin is inaccessible to thousands of Americans because of price gouging by near-monopoly private insurance corporations and their PBMs.

Despite Primary Aldosteronism being the most common etiology of secondary HTN in middle-aged adults, <2% of the eligible population is ever screened! Really need to start doing more PRA & Aldo levels on our patients with poorly-controlled HTN, risk factors (see below)
