I spent this month focused on painting things the way I see them. Now that the formal challenge is over, I decided to take a deep breath and play, painting what I felt instead. I forgot how freeing that can be! :-)

Sometimes we need to help our brains a lil... I keep forgetting whether I've taken my hrt, because it's a gel and so it doesn't fit into my daily medication bottles. Started getting hot flashes again, so I'm guessing I did forget. Luckily I'm a crafter... :-)

I have way too many projects on the go already, including several paintings in various stages of completion, so of course I started a new one. Haha!

A mid sized gessoed board with a yellow ochre/ umber wash and an underpainting of a teapot, done in a slightly darker colour.
There's lots of room left for the flowers that will go into the teapot in the next stage.

Today's plan: -make the forbidden coffee (filter the acrylic paintwater for disposal) -clean tape gunk off a cut leather piece -build a mould for a leather case - Clean future kitchen tiles for re-painting -fix newton's cradle (it fought gravity and lost) -paint 😵‍💫 I can totally do this!

Are spiders trainable? Ger, the massive beast is back. He only lives, because he's in an awkward corner. The last few evenings, I shooed him away, because I don't want him at my back while I'm painting. (He sits on the curtain rod, but lives in the vent) Today he ran off as soon as I came in. 🤷🏼
