Earlier this week, I agreed to interviews with two USA Today journalists. They wrote fantastic articles about the Cornell case that I'm proud to have been a part of. What I did not know is that their employer considers interviews to proprietary and opens up recordings to be used by any journalist.

Just a reminder that the few remaining experts at the CDC's food-borne illness division identified Taylor Farms as the source of the cyclospora outbreak very early on, but because the owner of Taylor Farms is a big Trump donor, he was able to prevent a recall for weeks as thousands fell ill.

I don't know what it is that bothers him about stealth aircraft - this is from 2 years ago. It's like he originally thought they were actually invisible and then when he realized they weren't, is going all in to disparage them to redirect his embarrassment.
Elon Musk tweet from 11-24-2024:
It is laughably easy to take down fighter jets. "Stealth" means nothing if you use elementary AI with low light sensitivity cameras. They aren't invisible.

Von der Leyen proposes Canada to be associate member of the EU
Von der Leyen then moves again to trade.

She says “in this age of tipping points, our prosperity and security will not only be built at home,” as she references new trade deals with Australia, India, the Mercosur bloc, Mexico, and Indonesia.

In a passage that includes what will no doubt be read as a swipe on Donald Trump, she says:

“These partnerships are a strategic choice for Europe, but they also respond to the fracture in the international rules based system.
For some, the answer is to go it alone. But this is not an option for us.
Europe will always lead when it comes to defending the rules based system. But we can no longer rely on it to be the only way to secure our interests, or assume that its rules will shelter us from the complex threats that we face.
In this new world, we must urgently reimagine our partnerships and build global coalitions for our resilience and democracies.”
