Murlin @murlin.bsky.social · 04/10/2026Same problem that new Shinobi had: enemies without hitboxes that are also extremely passive so you never feel threatened by them. The one exception was the skeleton archer, which not coincidentally created the only fun combat scenarios in the demo. 110

There are games where that works, but in a game like this where you're very mobile and the spaces are pretty wide open it means you can just avoid ever fighting anything 100

Has very little in common with the design elements I associate with Castlevania, both "classic" and "modern." Everything is so spread out, the map and level design should have been denser.
