My animes. There's a recency bias because - despite reading an unhealthy amount of VNs at the time - I didn't watch too much anime in my formative years

A 3x3 grid of animes:

Devilman Crybaby, Higurashi: When they Cry, Turn A Gundam, The Tatami Galaxy, Flowers of Evil, Inuyasha, Laughing Salesman, Revolutionary Girl Utena, and Asobi Asobase

I've been having a recurring dream where the Heathers, from Heathers, fashion me into the newest bratty rich girl in their clique. Not sure what to take away from this

We don't talk enough about the soundtrack of Fuck's Quest II, which was clearly made by someone who understands how to compose music and used that knowledge for evil

Whenever an older anime makes a joke that's like "wow, no one wants to see a cat BOY, how ridiculous 😂" I'm not sure anyone has ever been proven more wrong by history

I attended the Undertale Symphony in Manchester. When Alphys appeared on the overhead screen, someone let out a bloodcurdling scream which was immediately drowned out by deafening applause. It sounded like this

The modern AAA gamedev practice of dynamically lowering a game's resolution whenever anything happens onscreen to compensate for poor optimization and/or allow marketing to say that a game technically supports 4k (if you stare at a wall) is something I've hated ever since it became commonplace
