recently my friend's comics professor told her that it's acceptable to use gen AI for script-writing but not for art, since a machine can't generate meaningful artistic work. meanwhile, my sister's screenwriting professor said that they can use gen AI for concept art and visualization, but that it won't be able to generate a script that's any good. and at my job, it seems like each department says that AI can be useful in every field except the one that they know best.

It's only ever the jobs we're unfamiliar with that we assume can be replaced with automation. The more attuned we are with certain processes, crafts, and occupations, the more we realize that gen AI will never be able to provide a suitable replacement. The case for its existence relies on our ignorance of the work and skill required to do everything we don't.

More of the old magic. Not quite as old this time. Also I don't know why the box is so marked it's literally just been sat in a cupboard for 20 years.

the box opened up. it contains two packs of playing cards, still sealed. five dice, four stacks of poker chips (two white, one blue and one red), a score notepad. A drawer has been pulled out of the front and it contains a rules book and a pen. Everything is Rainbow Six Vegas 2 branded

The first few pages of the book are info about Ubisoft and the game, then info about the team leads such as Jordan Mechner. The paper is sepia coloured with rough shaped edged to give the "feel" of old manuscript

The rest of the book is just blank pages. Again the paper is sepia coloured with a rough edge. On the right hand page of each pair of pages there's a faint sepia image of the royal palace from the game
