Ah nice. My brother in law who builds forestry roads did the measurements for mine and he insisted on adding a 2 degree slope for drainage even with the gaps. I wasn’t sure it was necessary but he knows his stuff, plus it rains a ton here.

I keep seeing people say some version of "it used to be normal to politely disagree on things before the Internet," and I don't think that's right.
