The Scottish Supreme Court ruling on the legal meaning of woman is a common sense judgement. The ruling found that for the purposes of equality legislation a 'woman' means a biological woman & 'sex' refers to 'biological sex.
It also confirmed that transpeople are protected under their Equality legislation in a separate category of 'gender reassignment. The ruling needs to be fully examined in this state.

This consultation is a bit ridiculous. The reason the bus lane is empty is because there is no traffic in it. Opening up a bus lane to passenger vehicles will just slow down public transportation & add to traffic congestion as a whole. So this is a clear ‘no’ to this nonsense.

I don't want to see either Labour or the Soc Dems propping up a centre-right FF/FG coalition. Let them court right-wing independents. Have a proper left/right government/opposition split in the Dáil. Build a unified left wing alliance and take on FF/FG properly in the next election.
