Connacht 15 Stormers 29 That was a bad game No sugarcoating that Stormers came out in the second half more focused more accurate & far more powerful The maul defence was abysmal the scrum was destroyed Overpowered one on one too often Add in the knockons unforced errors & penalties #CONvSTO #BKTURC

The Connacht maul defence set up is really bad like really really bad The fact stormers are able to walk around it is criminal #BKTURC #CONvSTO

What a 5 minutes to end the half 0-10 down to 14-10 up Connacht had been poor up to then poor handling conceding too many penalties no flow at all The a Gilbert intercept & the games turned on its head Can't let this momentum slip and need to push on in the next 40 #BKTURC #CONvSTO

Connacht 10 Ulster 29 Connacht just not at the races today. Lots of unforced errors passive in defence & attack. Add a set piece that wasn't really working to the level they needed just made the day harder While Ulster played with that bit more intensity accuracy, strong maul + kicking game #CONvULS

The 2nd Row @the2ndrow.bsky.social · 29/08/2026

Ulster score 74 on the clock good break of the scrum gives them penalty advantage and a crossfield kick into space and Ulster are over Connacht 10 Ulster 29 #CONvULS

Connachts lack of a kicking game is killing them. The kicks themselves are grand but here's 0 pressure or follow up after them so they can't really get territory wins #CONvULS

Better 2nd half accuracy was better but Ireland have issues attack is blunt too often the trigger to go wide isn't pulled. To have Balacoune there and not creating ways to get the ball into his hands Some better defensive sets But left themselves far too much work to do #NZLvIRE
