What most scares me about these stories is we have *zero* insight into how many lit fuses are out there, that we only learn about when it’s too late and people end up hurt or dead. 99.99% of users not being driven to psychosis/violence isn’t reassuring when a product has 100s of millions of users.

My simple benchmark for any new AI is: can it reliably fetch/summarize news from a bunch of sources, and can it play nice with my home automation. Muse talks a great game - it’ll tell you it can do these things - but fell flat on its ass when it came to execution.
