Neuroscientist Dr Susan Barry has just been asked a very odd question: “Do you think you can imagine what it's like to see the world with 2 eyes?” Her reply: “Yes, of course. I'm a college professor, I teach about it in class. I think I know exactly what it is I'm missing.” She's dead wrong. 1/

Interesting morning commute. Once a week I get up at 5am and drive to Manchester. Takes about 1hr 50. Today I got 3 miles from work and got stuck in a 3.5 hour standstill, then got stuck in an endless crawl through Sale. Turned around and came home. 7 hour commute to my own house.

A cylindrical red and orange building giving way to a darker orange/red brick rectangular building with a rectangular hole punched through it with more buildings visible beyond. An old lift bridge, which seems to be called De Hef, with a central section raised high in the air and metal archways to the left and right, over a wide canalA selection of disparate buildings seen over a stretch of canal used as a quay, with the famous diagonal cubic houses just part of the background.A fancy looking tower, probably a hotel, behind a quay with many barges attached, and other more modern tower blocks to the left and right
