Beardy slapheaded quinquagenarian. Computer programmer who likes cooking and rambling and taking photos of stuff. I'm even less fascinating than that makes me sound. Also Mr www.alison-moore.com. She gave me a kidney so I have to say that.

Nottingham university looking quite nice today
Looking over the lake to one of the buildings of Nottingham university (no idea what it is!) past two Chinese dragon statues. Two orange autumnal trees frame the building.

Realised that thanks to the muffin rings, a homemade Egg McMuffin was within my grasp, and I do not regret it.

Rather than just sit on my kap, our cat has developed the habit of sticking his arse in my face for minutes at a time while he pads away with his toe spikes.

Maybe throw in a cyclist and some sheep too (egret down by the cyclist)

Nice morning!
Sheep in a bumpy, misty field behind a tumbledown old red brick wall covered in scrappy hedges and icy. It's early morning and the sky is pastel orange/pink.

Antwerp central station is pretty goddamned fancy.
Main chamber of Antwerp central station. Super ornate glasswork and stairs that my knowledge of architecture is to lame to apply describe. It's a bit like London's natural history museum I guess.Huge main concourse at Antwerp central station. Great abundance of interesting buildings and bridges in Rotterdam, we've loved wandering around.
A cylindrical red and orange building giving way to a darker orange/red brick rectangular building with a rectangular hole punched through it with more buildings visible beyond. An old lift bridge, which seems to be called De Hef, with a central section raised high in the air and metal archways to the left and right, over a wide canalA selection of disparate buildings seen over a stretch of canal used as a quay, with the famous diagonal cubic houses just part of the background.A fancy looking tower, probably a hotel, behind a quay with many barges attached, and other more modern tower blocks to the left and right

Staying in Rotterdam for a few days. Really like the vibe of the place.
Street near the Erasmus bridge in central Rotterdam - a nice mix of trees, older buildings and tall blocksView along a wide canal towards the centre of Rotterdam, from near the Erasmus bridge. An interesting black tower block with a wide "hat" section on top on the left, and variety of other blocks in different designs either side of the canal, plus the odd crane.View of the Erasmus bridge in the centre of Rotterdam with some interesting modern designed tower blocks in the distance, and a pleasure boat in the foreground.

This advert for perfumes called "good girl" and "very good girl" made my wife literally cry with laughter while waiting for the ferry yesterday. The clincher was the "very good girl" I think. It was a joy to behold.
Perfume advert with a glamorous woman in a red dress and the text *good girl / good to be bad" Nd underneath the information that "very good girl" can be purchase for even more money. Both perfumes presented in ludicrous high heeled shoe shaped bottles.

Check out the malevolence on this wee bast
An English shorthair cat, grey and kind of beautiful but having the usual look of the breed, which can tactfully be described as "ran into a bus face first". It is flowering at the camera with pure malevolence.
