Forgotten Island lived up to the hype. It's the wildest swing DreamWorks has done since like Antz when it comes to the tone in areas, but The Hangover like story setup and cast of characters is the heart. I hope it does as well as K-Pop Demon Hunters for being an asian female led animated film.

It's called film "footage" because camera operators initially held the cameras with their feet. That changed after a film shoot in 1931, when an operator got a foot cramp and was forced to hold the camera in his hands. The "footage" he got that day was extraordinary. That man's name? Hans Cameraman.

Fun fact: During pre-production on G Gundam, Yasuhiro Imagawa traveled to Hong Kong for research purposes. While there, he purchased a coin sword, which he enthusiastically brandished in the office. Memorably, a similar sword makes an appearance in the Giant Robo finale.
