Frankly, I couldn't care less what Albo thinks. It should always be up to the individual and their family, with support from health care professionals. Also, many people can't easily get to see doctors in person most of the time. Technology provides choice and dignity. www.abc.net.au/news/2026-07...

⚠️ OUTAGE UPDATE - TRIPLE ZERO ADVICE
- STATEWIDE
- Posted: 9:43pm, Wednesday 8 July
While Telstra fixed the issue that caused today's outage, they have identified a secondary issue impacting some calls including Triple Zero.
In these cases, when you call Triple Zero you’ll receive an error message and your phone will try to connect to an alternative mobile network.
If you experience any issues calling Triple Zero, try:
1. Waiting for your phone to connect to an alternative network if one is available - this can take up to 90 seconds
2. Using a different phone to make the call
As part of the back up process, a welfare check will be completed where a failed Triple Zero call is detected.
We will provide updates as they become available.

Glad to hear you got some decent meds. Not great you needed more hospital time. I'm not even going to ask what or how... I'll just assume it involved some combination of the spa, a ladder, a speaker & some bourbon 😂

Whilst the media commemorates 10 years since Brexit, it’s worth recalling that one of the principal causes of Brexit was the abject failure of the media to call out the lies and the liars.

I think the biggest rift between the millenial experience and the gen-z experience is that we got to experience the internet when it was weird and every website wasn't trying to push you into an algorithm and sell you something. Those are the days that I miss.

Unemployed Australians aren’t on parole. Our government has no right to compel them to do anything. Let’s start from the point of unemployed people being equal citizens, then adding any assistance from there. #AusPol #RaiseTheRate

If you're buying a heat pump, or air con (which should really also be a heat pump, the air-to-air type, very efficient for heating too), examine the refrigerant used and its 'Global Warming Potential': the lower the number the better, with CO₂ = 1 (and CO₂ is one of the 'natural' refrigerants 👇)

A ‘Too much pain’ card with a red border and a very distressed stickman, that says "I'm in too much pain to talk or listen. Please leave me alone."

Also a 3rd yellow variety that's the sweetest I've tried. I grew 2 types when I was in Sydney but found the one in the tropics more intense in flavour. Similar to berries & bananas, I find they blend well into drinks either fresh or frozen.
