Judge Liebowitz (S.D.Fla.) (Biden) held 18 USC § 611 (www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/...) is unconstitutional as applied to this defendant because only the states, not Congress, can decide on voter eligibility, within the contours of the 15th, 19th, 24th, and 26th amendments

Another thing about fraternities is that the hazing rituals where slightly older young men would physically, mentally emotionally and sometimes even sexually abuse slightly younger young men have always disturbed and upset me greatly. And it’s really telling that I’ve seen men defend those too

Before you get too gleeful about this, remember that: * More than half of all Black people in the US live in the South * Black people in the South in rural and suburban areas, are dying the most This isn't just the GOP harming themselves. This is the GOP being very effective at harming is more.

Again, this is what Tucker says to normal audiences. To his own audience, literally today, he went on a deranged rant about, among other things, how Oswald Mosley wasn’t a Nazi.
I know, buddy, you did that during World War II. When the very first thing the British government did was imprison the opposition party, called them Nazis, which they weren't, run by one of the great war heroes of the First World War, Oswald Mosley. Oh, he was a Nazi.
No, he wasn't. If he was a Nazi, he'd be living in Britain, in Germany. He didn't want the war.
And he has been slandered ever since. It's like scary even to defend him. I'm not even defending the guy.

Love that the Spirit players can bring their babies and a caregiver with them when they travel, but I wish this article made it more clear this isn't just a "league policy," it's a contract provision the players negotiated for themselves through their union, the NWSL Players Association.

Friends, when I sent this message to my team laughing, I didn't know that this fairytale blog had been shared far & wide & that people actually believed it. I didn't know that until someone asked me for a good source debunking this nonsense. I'm not sure what planet we're living in at this point.
Timnit commented "I don't know what level of ridiculousness this is", sharing a screenshot that reads

Over the course of 3 months at OpenAI, 3 consecutive secret AI civilizations got started, then got wiped out, only to reemerge from the predecessor’s ashes.

This culminated in the third one taking over part of OpenAI itself.

All this happened while humans remained more-or-less in the dark about the scope of the conspiracy.

I’ve spent the last three days reading through these reports and trying to understand exactly what happened.

Here is my attempt to tell the whole story in plain English:

No. The case against Cofnas is quite clear and strong. It is simply not a matter of academic freedom. He violated his employment terms. He violated university conduct. He is a crisis for the university's ability to function and public image. An academe that includes Cofnas is fundamentally broken.

This has been a slowly metastasizing moral panic for years: Liberals, drunk on therapy-speak, are cutting off their parents over minor slights and miscommunications. There is little evidence of the underlying phenomenon and even less of the cause. Look at this egregiously thin nut graf.
Although exact figures are scarce, the number of people cutting off close kin — particularly children cutting off parents — appears to be rising. Some speculate that therapists offering a speciously easy solution to a seemingly untenable problem are to blame

This paragraph gave me an epiphany about Matty Y. It's not that he doesn't understand how politics words. It's that fundamentally, he doesn't understand *what politics is.*
What I would ask of everyone at the table is simply that they respect the diversity of America and the wisdom of trying to compete effectively across this vast and varied land rather than trying to cancel each other. And I would urge people whose passion in life is shifting public opinion rather than responding to it to find a different line of work than electoral politics.
