Sure, it's the criticism that's "quite damaging" to the Supreme Court, not the corruption and rightwing fascism.

Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito said increasingly harsh criticism of the court from political leaders can be "quite damaging" to the institution.

"The criticism of the court by President Biden and justices by President Biden and his administration was very harsh. And President Trump has been very harsh," he told CBS News'

Alito said the court's job is to interpret the Constitution "as best we can" and apply it to the cases that come before them: "We are not part of any political movement. And we are not attempting to further any political agenda.""

Judge Alito said overturning #RoeVWade took courage? What it took was corruption and haughtiness. Courage is a woman whose life is in danger b/c of an ectopic pregnancy and has to leave her state to get medical help. STFU, cowardly Alito. You are the danger! #Voices4Victory #DV1 #Pinks #SheShed

Trump's lawlessness is more pressing, but let's not forget: the GWBush admin was also overflowing with incompetent, corrupt Republicans who were pathologically hostile to the rule of law. None of this was necessary or helpful, but it made them feel manly and it was good money for gov't contractors.
“A detainee who is shackled, transported to a former C.I.A. black site, and intentionally kept ignorant of both his right to remain silent and the inadmissibility of his prior coerced confessions, cannot be said to be making an ‘essentially free and unconstrained choice,’” he wrote.

The competitiveness of the white conservative lasted exactly as long as artificial barriers to entry for everyone else did, what they lost to was the free market they pretended to care about because their entire success was based on not actually facing competition.

Not the least bit surprising but still extremely grim to read. time.com/article/2026...
Since returning to office, Trump has marveled at AI’s capabilities. He is increasingly in thrall to the tech executives courting him. In December 2025, Elon Musk returned to the Oval Office for a clandestine meeting. Trump spent hours asking Grok, Musk’s AI chatbot, questions about his presidency and legacy, according to an official present. At the time, Trump was ordering missile strikes against Venezuelan boats he alleged were smuggling drugs into the U.S. He asked Grok how Venezuelans would react if the U.S. captured Maduro. According to the official present, the chatbot responded that Maduro was a repressive and deeply unpopular dictator and that many Venezuelans would likely celebrate his downfall. After Trump ordered the mission to seize Maduro, the following month, celebrations broke out in the streets. Trump, according to officials, came away thinking Grok was ingenious.

A Twitter post by sarrah bellus where someone asked “what’s wrong with musks body?” with photos from a recent visits somewhere outside. He’s standing in all black and cowboy boots. His chest is thrust forward and he has an anterior pelvic tilt. Next to him is two photos of a person from the mid 20th century study showing a person with estrogen deficiency - this person is in their underwear, they have knock knees, hunched shoulders, a protruding chest, which is a sign of estrogen deficiency. The thought here is that Elon musk, suspected of taking too much testosterone, has a similar estrogen deficiency. The quoting post by Dave greenridge says as much.
