Satellite imagery covering covering various areas of the UK during the dry summer is already going up on Google Earth. Already a few previously undocumented archaeological sites are visible, inc. this triple-ditched (IA/RB) enclosure in Shropshire. Source: Google; Airbus.

Image shared on X, originating from an extremist settler youth movement, shows what is supposed to be a settler outpost in Gaza near Beit Hanoun: x.com/ArbelReports... Located SW of Beit Hanoun, between 2 IDF outposts/bases that've been built in the past year. Pavilion first appeared in June 2026.
Annotated Planet Labs SkySat satellite image taken on July 7 2026 in northern Gaza. Most of the buildings visible have been reduced to rubble. Two IDF bases are visible as well as the Indonesian Hospital, which is still standing amongst the rubble. A gravel road connects the two IDF bases and along the road is a gravel pad that matches a photo shared online recently supposedly showing a settlement outpost. It's unclear if the wood pavilion pictured is part of an outpost or something related to IDF activity in the area.

SkySat imagery from @planet.com shows that Swedish Village — located on the coastal border between Gaza and Egypt — has been fully destroyed by the IDF. The village of ~1,300 people was mostly destroyed and turned into an outpost when the IDF first invaded Rafah in 2024. Now nothing remains.
A Planet Labs high resolution satellite image showing Swedish Village in southern Gaza on December 7 2023. The village is a small square made up of tightly-packed buildings on the coast. The large border wall between Egypt and Gaza is visible to the southwest and the east and north parts of the village are surrounded by sandy terrain. The Mediterranean Sea lies immediately to the northwest. A Planet Labs high resolution satellite image showing Swedish Village in southern Gaza on December 31 2025. Very little of the village remains with only a few buildings still standing and converted into an IDF military outpost with a new comms tower set up near the Egyptian border wall. A large jetty is being constructed on the Egyptian side of the coastal border.A Planet Labs high resolution satellite image showing Swedish Village in southern Gaza on May 26 2026. Nothing remains of the village and construction vehicles are visible on top of a large flattened area. The jetty on the Egyptian coast has grown and there has been some more added to the comms pylon part of the IDF military outpost.
