I've said this about Excel too. Until a recent contract role where I had to use Excel 2010 to merge and process some data. There were some very useful features missing!

I’m projecting September 2026 will be 2nd warmest on record in London behind 2023. Up to recently this would have been warmer than a typical July the hottest month. Some also interesting perspective September 2026 would have been 2nd warmest month of all months in 1960s at London Heathrow. (1/2)

From everything going on in the last few weeks, when I hear the phrase "legitimate concerns" it could often be swapped for "I'm not racist but" without losing the context of the sentence.
Meme of "I'm not racist but" with an unhappy face and "legitimate concerns" with a positive face.

Hmm, in the UK we've just broken the record for the most 30°C and 35°C days in a year, so this just looks stupid. It won't reduce bills, it won't save jobs, it won't make our future better. It will have long term negative consequences for the climate.

I've had to unfriend a few fans lately, all for the same reason. They made ridiculing, unkind, and in some cases outright cruel comments about pictures I posted of young women cosplaying Jessica.
More than a person, Jessica is a state of mind. To play Jessica, you need self -confidence, a sense of humor, and a Jessican -attitude-. There is no such thing as a Jessica cosplayer being too short, too flat chested, too heavy, too thin, too unattractive, too black, too Asian, or even too male!!! All Jessica, any Jessica, every Jessica is good Jessica.
I'm not giving any warnings or second chances. A single disparaging comment on a Jessica cosplayer, and I'm throwing you out of the rainbow colored Toontown Tent.

The reason elite consensus switched on net zero is that the elite realized: 1) Carbon capture doesn’t work, and carbon removal is really challenging. 2) The world is facing trillions of dollars in devalued assets if we actually do phase out fossil fuels. So they decided to let the world burn.
