Hilariously but unsurprisingly this turned out to be true. Since pulling down 27.0.1 my iPhone has been absolutely shredding battery. Lots more dumb UI glitches too that weren’t prominent immediately after upgrading to base 27. Apple gonna regression like Apple. 📲

Pro tip: don’t let your giant dog run loose at a crowded public event and then decide out of the blue to sprint through the crowd to chase after it. Someone could get hurt! (That someone is me. Missed a step trying to dodge, tumbled to the ground hard. At least he apologized. And the dog was cute)

Riding into downtown through Homecoming traffic really demonstrating the BRT’s strengths and flaws. Anywhere with dedicated lanes we are blazing past traffic. Anywhere along University/Campus/Johnson without, we’re stuck. Lack of bus lanes added about 11 minutes to my trip time.

Thanks to a late headsign change I boarded the wrong bus leaving work. Funny thing is, any other day it would be my usual bus, but I’m headed elsewhere. Great thing about our BRT is that I can just stay on here and connect to where I was going anyway in about the same time. Mistake sorta averted!

We would take very different pictures today. Emphasising our past more. I don't really know what that says about us...

I love the enthusiasm for transit in Seattle… I don’t think I’ve encountered another city where I overhear so many conversations about transit—some critical, but most positive—and it’s amazing how stuff like station openings draw huge crowds. 🎉

I work at a company where we have a sci-fi themed building, a mystery themed building, and multiple fantasy themed buildings. I have always said we should have a romance themed building, but I doubt it will ever happen... Also we should have a Barbie themed building...

My most radical take is that TOD is a scam invented by single-family home preservationists to find a scientifically sound way to concentrate "those people" is specific areas outside of where real people live, and urbanists have embraced it because it's better than nothing.
