Campaigners look to Historic England to save Black British site Bridge Park in London
Business and leisure centre in Brent was Europe’s biggest Black-led community project when it opened in 1980s The future of London’s Bridge Park complex, a prominent location for Britain’s Windrush generation, hangs in the balance as campaigners hope Historic England will save it from councillors’ decision to close it within weeks. Bridge Park community leisure centre in Stonebridge, north-west London, was Europe’s largest Black-led community enterprise when it opened in the 1980s and is cherished for its part in Black British history. This is exactly why bigots and haters are desperate to undo marriage equality. They cannot stand the idea of someone being happy while being different than THEM. If people can be happy while not conforming, the choice to conform is of no value.

Sub-5 men have a reason to be fat. It's been proven that chocolate and high intakes of food somewhat helps when being touch starved from women. That alone is a reason for men to be fat, along with more men having extremely stressful and physically arduous jobs. Food and alcohol helps allow escapism in these shitty predicaments men are in.

Foids on the other hand have zero reason to be fat. They can get f cked within 2 seconds of making a dating app so they're never touch starved involuntarily, and their jobs are 99% of the time piss easy like sitting behind a desk answering calls and doing paper work bullshit.

"Young women are moving left at a faster pace than young men," this article says... Then goes on to profile and quote from a young man who I won't call a white nationalist (for reasons). Both men quoted are clear exceptions to political conclusions of this article. So why centre them?

Young people as a WHOLE, in general, are shifting left. Young women are doing so faster than young men. That ≠ young men shifting right. There have been racists, fascists & political hardliners in every generation. This is also true of Millennials and Gen Z. Enough lazy framing, my god.

And the underlying story the Post is regurgitating boils down to "maybe Gen Z is a little less grossed out by age gaps than they used to". The Bumble stats they cite also say that women are more open to dating _younger_ men now (and obviously that's unlikely to be driven by Gen Z opinions changing)

Really just incredibly horrifying to see these confirmations that gen z men are shifting towards abusive, violent and misogynist worldviews en masse. Lots of blame to go around but for me corporations like Spotify and Netflix helped this happen www.theguardian.com/world/2025/a...
Clarke charted attitudes on gender norms from 2001 to 2023, ranking responses on a scale of one to seven based on people’s agreement with statements such as: “It is better for everyone involved if the man earns the money and the woman takes care of the home and children.” Seven represents “strong agreement”.

Other statements included: “On the whole, men make better political leaders than women do”, and “Mothers who don’t really need the money shouldn’t work”.

Clarke found that while young women are continuing to move away from traditional gender ideas, gen Z men are more likely to believe them compared with millennial and gen X men.

Score represents the average response to a range of subjective questions on gender norms in the Hilda survey. Scores range from 1 to 7, with 7 being ‘strongly agree’.

“There’s a general trend downwards … the average belief in traditional gender roles has been declining for the last 20 years,” Clarke says.

“But this group of gen Z men seems to be the exception to this trend.”

Until 2018, data showed gen Z men broadly held similar views to others a bit older that them, but that has changed even when factors including education, whether they’re partnered, and whether they live in a city or a rural area are accounted for.

“There is something going on,” she says.

There's been news of young American men being dissatisfied & in India too there's growing resentment against strong women. Ditto Australia. A headline today: "Australia’s gen Z men aren’t monsters – they just feel short-changed". As a mother of 2 strong women, I know women aren't stepping back.
