In a just world, Transformers One would have been a kickstart into a whole movie series. Or at least a Prequel Trilogy with Movie 2 dealing with the Quintissons and Movie 3 all about the Cybertron Civil War ending with the Ark launching. Setting up the potential for a Second Trilogy set on Earth.

I liked South Park back in the 90's and 00's. But I believe the show's overall "Caring about things is cringe" thesis did serious harm to the minds of Gen Xers and Millennials. I truly do believe the attitudes they advocated led the way for Trump in 2016, and they have not reckoned with that.

The below is burned into my brain and it's about as appealing a pitch as if video games involved getting shot with an actual gun.

It’ll take him an hour or so. In the meantime, you log into Clash of Guilds, and use the remaining obsidian to upgrade your town hall to the next level.

You wish you could fast forward time to tonight. Your Guild has plans to go for a deep run into the wilderness in Old School Rune Chains, and your prospects of a successful run (and great loot) have never been better.

Tonight’s objective is to kill the level 128 Frost Giant hiding in the Cave of Sorrow. He has a 5% chance of dropping an Immaculate Orb of Brilliance, of which there are currently only 4 in existence.
The Orb can be used as a power source in an upcoming space exploration game, and should give your guild a great advantage in reaching distant galaxies first. A 5% drop rate is low, but you’re feeling optimistic.

Right! The PS2 was the start of the flattening of the graphics curve. Before the PS2, spotting the graphical jump was as easy as looking at series entries on new consoles. After the PS2, it became harder to easily spot the jump and now you have to be a Graphics Pervert to articulate the changes.
