Max Long @maxlong.bsky.social · 19/08/2026Back in 2024 I was running a local model on my fairly low-spec laptop which did a pretty good job at extracting structured data from OCR text, as well as accurately correcting OCR errors. It was probably about 10x slower than the commercial models, but it did the job! 120
