Perfect timing! High-quality curriculum is in the "more effective, lower cost" quadrant. I suspect that effectively implementing curriculum is higher cost than we think. E.g. coaching could be helpful, and that shows up in the "more effective, higher cost" quadrant. www.nytimes.com/2026/09/28/u...

Personally, I consider it HUMAN learning theory that applies to both adults and children. Imagine providing the same choice and autonomy, engagement, relevancy, and verbal processing opportunities to the student classroom, as well as to teacher professional learning. We are all life-long learners.

I was impressed w/the thoughtful design of this meta-analysis of teacher professional development intervention effects on student achievement.
