The magical energy of old country lanes lies in their ability to act as living, breathing thresholds between the modern world and the ancient past - half frame photograph printed onto mulberry paper. The photograph was made using my Pentax 17 and Ilford FP4 developed with DD-X. #believeinfilm

Today’s poem is called ‘Fall’.
Fall

she loved to catch
the falling leaves
in autumn

she would sit

       and
 wait
            beneath

  the
       trees

                        until

    she’d

             cautumn

#Alphabetchallenge #WeekAForAbandoned #Stunday The abandoned pier at Southport Beach this morning Thanks @sheena-mck.bsky.social for a brilliant week 😊
A photo looking out towards the sea at Southport this morning.
On the left is the long disused pier that stretches out over the sand.
There are a few people sat on the sand.
The sand goes on for ever and ever and the sea is a tiny blue line across the horizon underneath a beautiful clear blue sky
