How long do I take lack of communication from my beloved Sian as something to be worried about, and not Sian just having a trademark Sian moment?

And of course the comment section is full of ableist "comedy."

Ah 2012 Twitter was golden... If memory serves, the tweet in question was about Banana Bread beer which lead to reasonably long thread with each of us expanding on the virtues of pumpkin beer and the Sticky Toffee Pudding ale (not a euphemism).

If I was crushed to death by 16 tons worth of copies of "The Man in the Velvet Mask" falling on me, would the coroner's verdict be death by Missing Adventure????

When a new Secondary School opens, do they open with a year 11 or do they just recruit year 10s?

Dominic Glynn is probably *the* musical find of the latter years of Who. Ayres is good, but Glynn knocks it out the park on every single occasion. His score for Dragonfire does a lot of lifting for the story

I loved it for the exact reasons it hasn't worked for you, I liked the tongue-in-cheek approach that admitted the original is a bit silly... but it it finally boils down to a simple good vs evil story. Though I wonder if seeing it on a massive screen in the Cinema helped sell the experience for me

Whovian Hive mind. When Resurrection of the Daleks was released on VHS in 1993, did the video declare it was a two parter despite it being the four part version?

Another Bude Jazz Festival done and dusted. Seen some great bands, met some old friends, met a few newbies and generally had lots of fun, even if this year I didn't get the urge to strut my funky stuff. Thanks to Lyn Soutar and the rest of the team for organising such a fun event.

Just collected my wristband and a rather lovely looking dark haired young lady just strolled up to me and gave me a massive hug saying "nice to see you again Michael," then wandered off. I wonder who she was.

UK peeps. Way back when Adam was a lad and I was in secondary school, I recall that the headmaster would pretty much at the start of every schoolyear complain about parents asking for a time table for the year, saying it was unreasonable. Was this a common attitude or was he just being a twat?
