A fox reaches out to a dove with their finger, a few feathers fluttering in the air

The caption behind reads:
"Tell your friends you love them
Before it's too late

It doesn't take a grand gesture
Or a lot of time

And just maybe, the world can be a little
less lonelier with you"

DoorDash spent $1.4M trying to stop Zohran Mamdani from becoming mayor. This week's historic $131.5M enforcement action against DoorDash for underpaying NYC delivery workers shows why. Yet another reminder that the only thing that can beat organized money is organized people.

In a wage-theft settlement, DoorDash now has to pay its workers around 100 times what it spent trying to beat Zohran Mam

Twelve countries banned settlement trade over displacement and settler violence — and some Democrats say Washington should be doing far more.

What happened to all the biblical level miracles? It was easy to believe in God thousands of years ago. He was doing crazy shit left right and centre. Parting seas, walking on water, raising the dead etc. You'd have thought he'd still drop the odd one in to remind us he's there.

Jason Arday's utterly sad death holds a stark mirror up to the dehumanising political-media-societal culture we are in – one we must all be honest about being complicit in – which forgets there is a human being at the centre of a story, a case study, an issue, a scandal. It is dehumanising.

It's so blazingly obvious that this is true. A university lecturer being fired for plagiarism would not be national news >99% of the time. It was inflated into one this time purely because it fit into racist "culture war" narratives about "DEI".
