Stephanie: [What do you mean?]
Jordan: [I...]
Jordan slumps in her seat, looking away.
Jordan: [Nuna, I'm a girl.]

Nick sits beside them.
Nick: [Is that why you haven't come out to your sister yet?]
Jordan, rubbing the back of their neck: [I mean... I... I'd just rather not be the person who makes a big commotion over myself for nothing.]
Nick: [For nothing?]
Nick rests his chin in his hands and leans in closer.
Nick: [Are you sure it would really be for nothing?]
In a starry vision, Jordan sees themself in a skirt and tall heeled boots, and being lovingly embraced by their sister.
Nick: [The things you are asking for-- to exist as you are, to be loved and accepted... you know, you aren't asking for much, right?]](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:gqskllykbmdonko5bx6yy5ur/bafkreigpukoggar3dstelfi2gsz556jej4af7jg3zjf3p3lywwocrhvure)
