So this is messed up: I posted this same image on Instagram, and after it went viral here, an “AI content” label appeared on the Insta post. And there’s no option to change it. Now the slop machine is even calling artists’ original work AI. Just because it appeared somewhere else on the Internet.

Tried to follow a YouTube tutorial today I can't quite get the placement of leaves and some of the shapes right but it looks like a tree and evokes some snow for me. A small win! 😁 Took around 45 minutes. 🌲 #art #watercolor

Btw, each of these last three stories was written specifically for a niche anthology. I usually have good luck with those: I'd say 50% acceptance rate or so. :) imho, anthology sales are extra-fun because then your story will actually live on somebody's bookshelf. Maybe even in a library! 💖

In case you were curious how similar the Great Egret and Great Blue Heron are in size, these two lined up perfectly for comparison. Apparently it was a desirable fishing spot #birds 🌿
