Mayor Mamdani shook hands with Rudy Giuliani at the 9/11 Remembrance Day event, even though Giuliani said Mr. Mamdani shouldn't attend. I saw someone comment that no one should shake hands with a terrorist. I think that's a bit much. I'm not a fan of Giuliani, but he's not a terrorist.

Trump gave *no* money or help after 9/11. He did, however, do two things: 1. Bragged on TV that the downing of the World Trade Center towers meant that he now owned the tallest building in downtown NYC; and 2. Applied for a $150,000 grant from a post-9/11 federal recovery fund, which he got.
