Definitely looking forward to the nature notes, but I've amused myself being able to call fivers a plastic Winston.

I feel like this is the most judgemental way they could have recorded this information.
One of the data points Amazon has collected about me. The item reads "product preferences - consistent replenishment of hand sanitiser".

Both of your statements in quotation marks are your impressions of what she said, not the words she actually said.

Do you mean your reply where you point to posts she made where she doesn't say the thing you claim she said? Because that is quite a glass house to be throwing mischaracterised stones in.

I think you might want to take a breath fella. Looking at the thread, Alex's comment reads as defense of you, that he can imagine a particular source where your information came from rather than a suggestion of impropriety.

This gets said constantly, but it worth reiterating: Games Workshop being bigger than fishing is important to shout about because you wouldn't know it from government talking points, which are rarely about anything creative or artistic. Growth won't involve fish or steel, it will involve goblins.

One of my favourite things about Coyote Vs Acme was the use of the Lorre caricature. He's one of the first Looney Tunes on screen and also a key plot point. An unusual way to be immortalised, but I think rather wonderful that his cameo is still flying over kids' heads even decades since he passed.

Anyone who says they have "no regrets" shouldn't be trusted. Any reasonable person occasionally reflects on their life, people they may have hurt along the way and things they might have done better. It's how we grow as people.

The ability to pour hundreds of millions of pounds into a loss-making TV channel, bent on wrenching British politics sharply to the right, is yet another of the ways in which extreme wealth is trying to remake UK democracy. It needs to be part of any serious conversation about political funding.

I guarantee you AI won’t kill us all. The claim’s a projection of reckless rich buffoons who can’t wait to be the only humans alive, openly fantasizing about a cull. Again. I’ve never been scared of AI, but the megalomaniacs forcing it on us are terrifying. I can’t guarantee they won’t kill us all.

Yesterday's news about Jacob Geller broke my heart, so much that I couldn't stop dwelling on it all day. In an effort to make sense of this horrific news and my admittedly complicated feelings about it, here is my article on the Jacob Geller situation: epiloguegaming.com/what-do-we-d...

What Do We Do With Jacob Geller? - Epilogue Gaming

There are NOT machine-made clothes. If there were, your clothes would be made in the country you live in (where the customers are), or in China (where machines are cheap). They’re made in Bangladesh or India or Indonesia because that’s where the LABOUR is cheap. Your clothes are made by people.
Joyce Carol Oates says: “This is why Al-generated romance novels make perfect sense. Formulaic fiction doesn't need to be written by hand, so to speak; what difference does it make if a machine "writes" it? There are machine-made clothes & there are custom-made clothes. They appeal to
different consumers.“

i worry that men think being A Good Guy is dramatically and heroically intervening on behalf of an endangered woman and then being publicly rewarded on a grand scale when actually being A Good Guy is just usually saying, “hey man that’s not funny” or “wow that’s fucked up” and there is no reward

You could show more confidence as a country by putting AI nowhere near centre stage, and shouting that you won’t be taken in. That’s a confident move. Just like you would magic beans, or a perpetual motion machine, or Bagpuss’ Mouse Mill with the chocolate biscuits.

S.Peggie loses on every point apart from the administrative failures of NHS systems. GC lawyers have wasted NHS time and resources for a vanity project with net-zero result for them or Peggie. The aim is never to win legally but use the story to lobby politically through media.

Great that by working out the bare minimum fucking idea that the internet might need - a service to move money - genius level parasites like this take a slice of my earnings every time I create stuff, but instead of a tax that benefits society, they just rub the cash over their balls, laughing.

The whole point of humans as a sociable, tribal species is we should eject people like this, so they starve in the wilderness alone. There are consequences to sociopathic behaviour. Somehow the abstract idea of money has short circuited our basic evolutionary safeguards.

This is not true. Only a handful of Nazis were hanged for their crimes and the Nuremberg Trials wrapped up because the governments lost interest. This is why postwar Nazis quickly reestablished far right parties across Europe in the 1940s and 1950s. Including in Germany and Austria.
